Additional Information

My late wife Gill and I moved to Towcester in 1982, to start a family and build our lives together. For most of my career I have worked as a youth and community worker. I now work part-time as a consultant for the voluntary sector.

For the past 20 years I have been a town councillor and served three times as town mayor. Before my election in May 2015 I have served for hree terms as an SNC councillor. I have been active with local organisations, including being past chair of the volunteer bureau, and of our local community centre. I am a trustee of Towcester Museum.

As a councillor I listen to all points of view and act on people’s concerns. I try my very best to serve our community and work hard to improve local quality of life.

Our local councils should be at the heart of our community. Providing efficient, good value services and ensuring that local voices are heard. They should also monitor the work of our county council and government agencies.

I pledge to:

  • listen and respect people’s views
  • work hard for Towcester and the district, and keep in touch
  • speak up strongly for our town and district
