2.	Appointment of Vice-Chairman of the Committee for the Municipal Year 2014 - 2015 Decision: Resolved That Councillor Blake Stimpson be appointed Vice-Chairman of the Licensing Committee for the Municipal Year 2014/15. PDF 206 KB Decision: Resolved (1) That the Licensing Act 2003 Statement of Licensing Policy 2014-19 be noted. (2) That the report be noted. Minutes: The Committee gave consideration to the report of Head of Community Services advising on the Licensing Act 2003 Statement of Licensing Policy 2014-19 and various other licensing matters. Regarding licensed hackney carriages and private hire vehicles (paragraph 3.10 to the report), the Senior Licensing Officer advised that a further operation had taken place since the publication of the report. He therefore updated the information contained in the report by advising that 80 vehicles had been stopped and checked. 45 had being sent for testing, of which 8 were licensed by the Council. He undertook to advise members of the Committee of the time and date of the next inspection operation in case any member wished to accompany officers. Resolved (1) That the Licensing Act 2003 Statement of Licensing Policy 2014-19 be noted. (2) That the report be noted.
